GP2X F-200 startup sound is too loud

When you start up the GP2X F-200, there are two really annoying things that happen.

  1. you are assaulted with the ridiculously loud startup sound
  2. the blue LED shines like a beacon

At least the sound has a work around: when you boot up your GP2X, press the volume down [-] button at the same time. This disables the startup noise.
