Zoomify Bug in Firefox?

20 December 2006 154 views 2 CommentsPrint This Post Print This Post

I was reading Rob Galbraiths article about Zoomify and displaying large images on the web. He gives a good evaluation and discusses some of the known bugs and issues.

However, he seems to have missed the insane flickering error behavior that I see when viewing his page in Firefox. It seems like the plug in on the page is rapidly flickering as quickly as possible between these two screenshots below.

Boy, I really hope that gets fixed. I’d hate to see that happening on random websites.

I can’t get Firefox to render my zoomify page properly. It looks fine when viewed using Internet Explorer. It even looks fine when Firefox displays the version off of my own hard drive… but this is what it looks like when Firefox tries to display the version off of the web:

    Drew,
I checked out your page, and I get the same thing in Firefox. When I use IETab (a firefox plugin that lets you run the IE engine within Firefox) it displays fine.
