What is the only difference between a GWC (Guy With Camera, Girl With Camera) and a professional photographer?
The ability to make money.
If you can afford to buy the most expensive gear, but you cannot recoup your costs through your photography, you’re either a hobbyist (GWC) or running a failing photography business.

I’m hoping for a Canon 5D successor to be announced this year. My G9 is very good for P&S++; miss my old 10D & lenses for some control tho.

Cactus V2 Flash Triggers with Flash Zebra PC to Flash Hotshoe Adapter

I have been using Cactus V2 Flash Triggers, from Gadget Infinity, to control my camera flashes. I’ve had a very good experience with them firing up to three flashes at a time. They’ve been a very good investment for me. They are inexpensive and the get the job done. However, I really don’t like the L-bracket flash foot adapter.
