I stopped at Marginal Way Skate Park in Portland, Maine tonight and got some photographs of some Freestyle BMX guys and some really exciting aggressive Rollerbladers.

Corel added new Film and Filter Photo Effects to Paint Shop Pro XI. Now, you can mix and match Film Types with Creative Filters to change the appearance of you photos. I tried some Film and Filter Effects on an image I have of some boats in the fog.

Tom Noble sponsored the Eastern Fat Tire/Maine Mountain Biking Association Rotary Park Short Track at Rotary Park in Biddeford, Maine. The race benefits the Biddeford Parks and Recreation department. I got some shots of all three races and some pre-race stuff, too.

My first N.E.F.L. game, Southern Maine Raging Bulls vs. North Shore Generals went well, but the photography was only so-so under the stadium lighting with a short telephoto lens.

After attending the Portland Camera Club meeting, I went to Portland’s Wharf Street, for some night photography. I took my tripod, my remote shutter cable and my Sigma 12-24mm lens on the Canon EOS 10D body.
